A glimpse of your daily life

  • You receive and forward customer claims (auto, home, commercial, etc.) to the insurers.
  • You handle the management and follow-up of claims files.
  • You act as an intermediary between the client, the insurer, and service providers to ensure an efficient and fair settlement.
  • You analyze the circumstances of the loss, assess the admissibility of claims, and dispute insurer denials when necessary.
  • You advise clients on the procedures to follow and inform them of their rights regarding claims.
  • You work closely with brokers, insurers, and claims adjusters.
  • You support brokers in preparation for clients’ insurance renewals in order to offer tailored solutions that meet their needs.

 

The Profile We’re Looking For

  • You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in claims settlement (experience in a brokerage firm is considered an asset).
  • You hold an AMF license –Claims adjuster (personal and commercial lines).
  • You are able to read and understand the nuances of insurance policies and the scope of coverage.
  • You demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a strong client-focused mindset.
  • You show tact, diplomacy, and empathy in your interactions.
  • You are comfortable with negotiation and make decisions with confidence and sound judgment.
  • You are organized and able to manage your tasks and priorities effectively.
  • You are proficient with computer tools and case management software (Microsoft Office suite; knowledge of PowerBroker and Applied TAM is an asset).
  • You are fully bilingual (French/English).
